W2 with the total Federal Wages, all of which achieved in two different states. Ga state Income tax, total Wages are transferred as taxable state income? Is this correct?

W2 with the total Federal Wages, all of which achieved in two different states. Ga state Income tax, total Wages are transferred as taxable state income? Is this correct?

If Georgia is your resident state, you must report all income regardless of source and will get credit for taxes paid to the other state.

If Georgia is your nonresident state, you include the total federal income but the tax only applies to the Georgia source income.
