The company I worked for is in Kansas, however I worked from my home office in Pennsylvania. However, they never withheld PA state tax, only Kansas state tax.

If you work remotely from your home in Pennsylvania, then your income is considered as earned in Pennsylvania. You have to file a PA tax return.

You also need to file a nonresident Kansas return to claim the refund of KS tax withheld.
