Submitting Updated State Tax with which Federal Tax (Original E-Filed or updated 1040X)

I updated my state tax, after I noticed I missed a form and after I e-filed my federal taxes but hadn't sent in my CA State Tax. I am going to amend my Federal Taxes with 1040X once I receive my refund for my federal returns. 

My question is, for the CA State Taxes that I'll be sending in since Federal Taxes are attached to the State Tax. 

Do I attach my federal taxes with the Amendment (1040X form). Or would I attach the federal taxes with the correct information, despite the IRS not getting this information from the e-file.

You can e-file an amended return this year in TurboTax, so you wouldn't need to be concerned about attaching anything if you did that. If you mail in your amended return, it is best to include the original return, the corrected return and the amended return (form 1040-X).
