Diplomats and their immediate families fall under the "exempt individuals" notion. So you would probably not meet the substantial presence test to be considered a US resident (since your presence days are exempt). And as long as you are not considered a US resident under the green card test, you will be filing Form 1040-NR, rather than Form 1040.
TurboTax does not support Form 1040-NR. However, you can use a partner site to prepare the nonresident tax return.
