I was part year resident in NY and CA.
In the TaxReturn pdf file that was generated by TurboTax in the part "2018 New York Tax Return" under "2018 New York Tax Return Attachment" the following CA forms are listed: Shall I attach"Form 540NR or Part-Year Resident Income Tax Return" and "Schedule CA (540NR): California Adjustments" to my NY return?
Is it a mistake or shall I attach these CA forms?

Many states do require a copy of the other state's return when you are filing as a part-year resident, a nonresident, or as a resident claiming a tax credit on taxes paid to another state. TurboTax prints out the required documents that are necessary for you to file. If you are mailing in your New York return, you want to include all of the attachments that printed out with the New York return and assume that they are required for your New York return filing.
Having said this, if you filed electronically (which New York virtually requires), you will not need to send anything to New York unless they ask for it. Then and only then would you need to send a copy of the California return to the state.
