I was a resident of only one state. but I paid taxes in two states. My W2 shows the same. TT is preparing my returns by default for 1 state but not another. Solution?

You should add the second state in TurboTax and file a non-resident state return with 0 income allocated to this state and get a refund of your state tax withheld.

You should add the second state in TurboTax and file a non-resident state return with 0 income allocated to this state and get a refund of your state tax withheld.
