Permanent resident 1042-S

Hi, I am a permanent resident and I received a 1042-S form. My income code is 29 and exemption code is 15. How can I include this form in my tax return on Turbotax?

The chapter indicator is 3 and the chapter 3 status code is 16.

What is the amount I must enter? Is it ‘Gross Income’?

Yes, enter the gross income. According to 1042S Codes Explained you are an individual with interest and not subject to withholding. You will enter the 1042-S as if it is Form 1099-INT.

Select I'll type it in myself. Enter 1042-S or payor and the amount.
