I am a Delaware resident and work in Pennsylvania (non-resident). I have rental homes in DE. The rental income is not sourced from PA and the rental homes are not located within PA, and I just wanted to confirm that I don't have to report and pay PA taxes on the rental incomes according to the below link:
Nonresidents must report net income (loss) from rental property in
Pennsylvania and income from royalties, patents and copyrights for the
use of the property in Pennsylvania.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Based on the information provided by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Revenue, you would only need to report the rental income if it was from Pennsylvania property. In your case, your rental income from Delaware is not reported on Pennsylvania Non-Resident return.
