Part-year resident in 2 states - do I fill in taxes paid to another state or does Turbo Tax calculate this automatically?

My question is whether Turbo Tax would automatically calculated credits and things based on wage allocations/days living in a state or if I need to manually add in a credit for taxes paid to another state. I’m confused whether we are owed a credit or not - here is the scenario:

Spouse and I lived in NY for half the year with a NY employer. Half way through the year relocated to NC for a new employer in NC. Before and after the move, spouse worked for each company (employed by both) for about a month or so. So earned wages from NC employer while in NY, and earned wages from NY employer after the move to NC.

On filing both state Tax returns we’ve filled in the wage allocations, days spent in each state, filled in whether the income was as a resident or nonresident, NC source or not etc. so does Turbo Tax already calculate the credit to each state/factor that in, or do we need to manually add that in?

If yes, on the NC a tax return, it is asking for income made in NY that was also subject to NC tax. It says to take the numbers from NY return. I don’t see these numbers broken out on NY return.

any help would be greatly appreciated
