Oregon State Political Contribution Credit

I have made a $100 donation to a PAC, I am filing Jointly so I should be able to claim the full amount on my Oregon State Taxes.   But  the program is saying that my Adjusted Gross Income in too high.   My AGI on line 7 of OR 40 is172,315 which is less than the 200,00 limit.  I also see that their is a limitation only for Candidate Contribution not PAC funds.   I have always been able to claim this credit.    What is happening?  It will not allow me to file my taxes.   If I take this off then I own $100 more than I already do.  Help

Based on what you're saying, the TurboTax programming is correct in not allowing your political contributions credit.

According to Political contributions credit in Oregon's Publication OR-17, Individual Income Tax Guide,

The AGI limit for claiming this credit has been lowered to $150,000 for married taxpayers filing a joint return and $75,000 for all others.

Federal AGI limit has been reduced to $150,00 for joint filing, but Turbo Tax software still accepts $100 credit based on $200,000 AGI.

Will TT acknowledge and correct this error?

Although you can enter the contribution in TurboTax even if your income is over $150,000, it will be flagged when the mandatory review is done before you file your tax return and you will need to remove it before you file. Also, if you read the Learn More option on the entry screen, you will see that you are informed about the non-allowance of the deduction if your income is over the limit.
