NY State Amended return wont submit-- error of IT-201 not filed

Hello I am having same problem as https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/discussion/re-can-t-e-file-amended-ny-state-return-say...

Both my Federal and State returns have been accepted. Both were e-filed. I need to submit an amended return, but this error won't let me !!! I am a full-time resident of NY and filed my whole return electronically, including Form IT-201.

I called turbotax support and after over an hour, they haven't been able to make any progress. To be honest it doesn't seem like they are really trying to understand the issue, which seems like a software bug. It says I didn't e-file Form IT-201, but I 100% did e-file it. I know that NY state accepts amended returns electronically. I am getting to the point of just trying to print them out, but I'm worried something larger is wrong if it is making such a big error like this.

Please, I am desperate for help. Never had such a bad problem with Turbotax before.
