My wife and I relocated to the wilderness of Colorado. I have no W-2s for this year. Can I still do our tax return?

If you or your wife have other income, dividends, interest, pension, ira distribution, etc., then you should do a tax return. If you have no income then you do not need to do a tax return - what would you report?

IRS.gov/coronavirus will soon provide information instructing people who are otherwise not required to file a tax return, on how to file a 2019 tax return with simple, but necessary, information including their filing status, number of dependents and direct deposit bank account information.
