My iowa state refund was applied to my future 2020 taxes. How do I fix this?

Go into your state interview section.

You should get to a summary page before you can check your return over.

Select Other situations.
You will then select "Apply refund to next year".

Make your adjustments here to have the amount refunded instead of applied to 2020.
