Hello all,
We are moving to TX next month so I will continue remote work with my MA job. When I file for 2022, am I filing MA State forms for Jan 1-Feb only and nothing for TX (no state income tax) assuming there's no further state withholdings?
Thanks.
Gil

Yes.
For tax year 2022, you'll file a part-year resident state return for MA and no state return for TX.
Correct. Your employer should cease withholding MA taxes once you become a resident of Texas. MA does not require employers to withhold taxes from nonresident employees who never physically work in MA.
For 2022, your only state tax return will be a part-year resident return for MA.
