Inherited property in Arkansas

Texas resident. I inherited a home and small acreage in Arkansas last year. It is not a rental property and there is no income for it. I did pay real estate taxes. Do I need to prepare an Arkansas state return?

No, but you can claim the real estate taxes on your federal return if you itemize deductions.  Real estate taxes for your main home, vacation home, or land are an allowable deduction if they're based on the assessed value of the property and the property is for your own personal use.
