I work in VA but live in DC. Do I need to file VA taxes also or return Form 763S?
DC and Virginia are reciprocal states which means that you only have to pay the tax in the state where you live. Your W-2 should show DC withholding from your VA employer. If you had VA taxes withheld, you will need to file VA form 763.
