I work in Maryland but live in DC. I solely pay taxes in DC. Do i need to pay taxes in my working state of maryland?

No, if your only income from Maryland was from working. Maryland and DC have an agreement (called a reciprocal agreement) that allows you to file in your resident state only if it is only compensation income (from working) This prevents you from having to file a nonresident return. UNLESS you had Maryland taxes withheld.
