A. No.

It doesn't matter if you went to school in another state or another country; going to school is only considered a temporary absence from your resident state, even if you abandoned your abode.

I am a TX resident with CA rental property with a loss, should CA(540NR) Part II section B line 5 Column E be ZERO?
