No, you cannot deduct an interest penalty.  You cannot deduct interest you pay to the IRS or another tax agency for not paying all or part of your tax liability or not filing a return.

No, you cannot deduct an interest penalty.  You cannot deduct interest you pay to the IRS or another tax agency for not paying all or part of your tax liability or not filing a return.
