I moved to NM. How do I change the state from NY to NM. Turbo Tax thinks the state tax is NY?

I have Turbo Tax for desk top. My last filing was for state tax NY. But I moved and it is now NM. Need to get Turbo tax to change my state tax form to NM.

In your profile you need to update your address to reflect your current NM address. To change your address,
Go My Info.
On the Personal info summary screen, scroll down and click the pencil next to Mailing Address.
You will be able to update your address on the next screen.

did you spend any days in NY or did you move out 1/1? You may be a part year resident if you did not move out prior to 1/1/23.
Does your w-2 reflect any NY withholdings?
Does your W-2 reflect a NY address?
Do you have estimated taxes or a refund you needed to allocate from NY?
Did you work for an employer based out of a NY office?

If any of the above is true, you may still need to do a NY return.

You also must notify NY of your change of address.Individuals
