I moved to CA on Dec 1st from FL ; however, due to moving and not working in CA until Dec 24th all of my tax information is still FL. Do I file under FL or CA?

File as a Florida resident.

That would depend on when you established legal residency in California. Technically, you would need to file a part-year resident return in California if you established legal residency there before end of year. Your residence is where you live and work for the most part. As a practical matter, there seems to be no income reporting in California during the year so if you were to not file a California return, you would probably be safe accept in the event of an audit.

You became a legal resident of CA on the day you began living there with the intent of making it your new main, permanent home.  CA became your new domicile (tax terminology) on that date.  Any income you earned after that date is taxable to you by CA as a part-year resident.
