I live in Florida but I'm being asked to file state taxes for Georgia. I've never been or worked in Georgia. Why is this?

If you have no connection with Georgia, you can remove this state from your return.

Click on State Taxes in the left-side menu, then Your State Returns.

Use the trash can icon to delete Georgia.

Check your entries in the MY INFO section to verify that you didn't indicate that you 'made money in other states' and indicate Georgia.
