North Carolina filing threshold amounts
If you determine you do meet the filing requirements, you will need to enter the sale information in the federal section of the program.
You will then start your North Carolina return using the steps below.
Be sure to only report the sale of the home on your North Carolina return. You may need to zero out other amounts as you go through the North Carolina interview questions to ensure they are not reported on your nonresident return.
