Prepare your Non-Resident NJ return first to report income earned in NJ.

Your NY Resident return will report all your income, but may ask you to allocate the amount earned (and tax paid) on your NJ return.

If you are efiling, TurboTax will include what is required to each state.  If you are mailing your returns, the Filing Instructions will tell you if you need to attach a copy of your NJ return with your NY return.
