How do you calculate "other state adjusted income," "income taxed in other state and (state)," and "income tax due and paid to other state" for your state return?

You will need to view the other state return. Let's do an example. Worked in state A and made $80,000. State A taxable income is $65,000 and a tax liability of $3200. What you paid in is irrelevant for this question.

Each state is  a little different. You may have adjusted income and taxable income as two different lines or it may be the same line.

The tax liability - not the refund or amount due.
