I work for a company in Indiana, but I live and work from home in Kansas. As a field employee, I not only work remotely from home, but I also travel monthly to various states to perform my duties. I have only travelled to Indiana for training and/or meetings. My W-2 only showed Kansas taxes withheld. Am I required to pay Indiana state taxes? Do I even need to file a non-resident state tax form for Indiana? TIA

Q. Do I even need to file a non-resident state tax form for Indiana?
A. Yes, for the time you physically worked in IN. But "nobody" does. See:
http://money.cnn.com/2013/06/28/pf/taxes/business-traveler-tax-threat/ If you live in a state without an income tax (e.g. FL or TX), it’s more likely you should file in the work states. You can't use the "it all comes out even" rationale for not filing.
It may or may not be true that nobody does it, but non-residents of IN are required to file an IN tax return if they have any Indiana-source income.
https://www.in.gov/dor/individual-income-taxes/filing-my-taxes/who-should-file-a-tax-return/
Indiana-source income includes "salaries, wages, fees, commissions, and all other types of income received by a nonresident employee for services performed in Indiana."
https://www.in.gov/dor/files/reference/ib39.pdf
Therefore the income you derived from services or work you provided in Indiana, is by law taxable by Indiana.
