Hello, Why do I owe $845 for my New Jersey taxes for tax year 2017? I lived in New Jersey in 2017 and worked in Delaware and I claimed 0 exemptions, so why do I owe?

If you had DE taxes withheld, complete the Delaware return as a non-resident, and then complete the  NJ return as a resident.  Due to the difference in tax rates between the two states, you may still owe NJ taxes.

Or, your have income besides wages that NJ taxes. You are asking from TT Self-Employed, after all.
