Has anyone else noticed that TurboTax is inaccurately computing state taxes for a multi-state (Rhode Island - NR, Massachusetts - R) return?
I have manually computed as well as compared my manual answer using TaxSlayer and I can prove that TurboTax does not correctly compute income attributable for a RI and MA tax return when my spouse's income is earned in RI as a non-resident and mine is earned in MA as a resident. We are filing joint as MA residents and RI non-residents. Be careful! I had another issue with a TT multi-state (RI & MA) return in the past and won that battle when they finally agreed their computations were incorrect.
