Does Telecommuting Employee in NewYork Subject Company to NY State Corporate Income Taxes?

We are a Virginia based consulting company that has an employee who lives in and telecommutes from New York. The individual will be working for a client in Virginia. Does this individual telecommuting from New York subject our company to having to pay and file corporate state income taxes for New York or can we continue to pay corporate state income tax to Virginia while we withhold income tax and pay unemployment to New York for the individual?
