I live in NY but worked in NJ. I am being asked to remove wages for "each state wage line that is a duplicate". I am filing the nonresident tax form for New Jersey, should I remove the wage line for NY?

The return I filed today on TurboTax was rejected by the IRS because it was seen as a duplicate. My original 1040, which I did through the new IRS portal was rejected.
