Can I e-file my federal and state (CA) returns from a hotel in Portugal before Apr15? Or is there a firewall preventing e-filing from overseas?

You should still be able to file while overseas; is there a specific error message that you are receiving?

Thanks for your reply. I haven't started traveling yet and don't need to e-file until I'll be overseas in early April. (I was just asking in advance.) Good to hear that there should be no issue.
