I moved out of CA to TX in 2021, and even though living in TX for the full year in 2023, I still receive RSU vests from my employer that were granted while I was living in CA, so need to file a CA state return as a full-year nonresident.
I remember when doing it in 2022, I did all the calculation of how much out of my RSU income should be distributed between CA and TX, and in Turbotax it was a very straightforward few steps of entering the CA income from RSU.
However this year, Turbotax is asking me all sorts of questions for things that is not attributable to CA, for example "You have a capital loss carryover of xxx on your federal return. Enter the California capital loss carryover amounts below." and all sorts of California Adjustments for the stock sales that happened in 2023 while I was living in TX.
Does anyone know if anything changed on Turbotax? I believe I should not have to provide any information besides RSU in income in the CA state return.

Those TurboTax questions may be due to CA's tax rules on carryover capital losses. See "Change of Residency from California (move out) in Section H of this CA tax reference:
