I just paid $45 for state TurboTax yet it is totally not helpful.
AIRBNB SAYS: We automatically collect these taxes from guests for each booking and remit them directly to local tax authorities.
Yet there is no place in TurboTax to say the state already received the state tax on my Airbnb income.
How can I properly tell the state that they already received tax payments on my Airbnb revenue?

AIRBNB SHOULD SAY "We collect and pay State and Local Hotel Occupancy Tax which has nothing to do with state INCOME tax, your state tax return, and is not reported by you on either Federal nor State tax returns."
YOU didn't pay it, your guests did.
It is not INCOME tax.
It is like sales tax that a merchant collects and pays to the sate. The clerk didn't pay it, they just collected it from the customer and sent it to the state.
