where do I expense out the cost of manufacture for cds. Not all cd made were sold in the year manufactured

If you manufacture CD's  for sale then that is part of your inventory costs  if you keep an inventory.

If the business makes less than a million dollars a year then you can expense all of the inventory purchased or manufactured as supplies if you wish.
