How do I qualify mty 1099-NEC? It was money given in compensation for teachers staying in the field, not self employment or anything else. It only has boxes 1 filled out.

After you enter your 1099-NEC you will select this is not money earned as an employee or self employed individual.  It is from a sporadic activity or hobby.  This will tell TurboTax to NOT report it as self-employment income as it is not subject to SE Taxes.
