Dental Expenses

I had major Dental work done in Costa Rica. I do a lot of trade shows and must look good. This surgery was necessary given the only alternative was dentures. Can i write this off as a business expense, instead of putting it under medical?

Dental Expenses

For an expense to be considered a business expense, it must be ordinary and necessary for the business. You may be able to argue it was necessary, but it would not likely be considered an ordinary business expense by the IRS.
