We are both submitting quaterly estimated taxes this year. Myself for my sole propreitorship and she is for her 1099. Can we submit just one check and one voucher for our total amount due each quarter?
Thank you
Mark

Yes, if you are filing a Joint return. There is only 1 Tax Due or Refund on a Joint return. It isn't broken out by spouse. You should figure estimates on the total income for both of you combined. Is her 1099 for self employment also? So you will be doing 2 schedule C?
Thats exactly what I had thought and was just wanting to confirm it for my wife. She is technically working for an investment firm but is getting paid on a 1099 and she's responsible for all her taxes due.
