Claiming Home Office after fire

<P>Hi. I had a fire in 2022. I was displaced all of 2023. Am I correct in thinking that I cannot claim my home office since I did not live at home?</P>

Are sales tax and estimated taxes the same thing for someone who is self employed? Received letter from the state and they didn't include the taxes I paid in 2024.
