Your post is unclear. Do you mean you use uber as your own transportation to get to and from work? Or are you an uber driver yourself?
If you are salary employed and use Uber to get to work or on work assignments, then you cannot deduct the cost of that on your tax return. If you are self employed and use Uber for trips associated with your work, you can deduct the cost of that from your self-employment income. However, you cannot deduct the Uber cost associated with travel to and from your work even if self-employed.
If you mean you are an Uber driver, then you can deduct costs associated with your vehicle to the extent it is used for work.
