Why is TurboTax saying that I am due a refund from my employer for social security tax? I made 18873 and they withheld 1170, which is 6.2%

According to turbotax I am due a refund of 1054, and they were only supposed to take out 116.

It would appear that in your W-2 entry there is a type and 18873 is entered 1873 (1873 * 6.2%=116). Return to the W-2 entry area to correct the typo and this should resolve the issue.
