Why is my self employment income and 1099NEC being counted as separate amounts, in effect counted twice?

Should I delete my 1099NEC because I imported my self employment income from quickbooks self employed?

If you imported your self-employment income from Quickbooks and that income already includes the income reported on your form 1099-NEC, you do not need to enter that form 1099-NEC on your tax return. You just keep that form 1099-NEC in your tax records with proof that it was already included in your income imported from Quickbooks.
