Why do I have to Upload any Bank Account Info. This info concerning the 1099-R form? I'm retired, I have no investments.

I own no Stocks or Bonds. No investments, no  other savings other then whats in my Bank which amount to nothing.

If you do not want to import the Form 1099-R then you can enter it manually:

1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”  
2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
3. On the "Let's import your tax info" screen click "Change how I enter my form"
4. On the "How do you want to enter your 1099‑R?" screen click "Type it in myself"
