Why am I being asked to complete a 1099 NEC worksheet if I did not receive a 1099 NEC?

I  do not have any income from a 1099 NEC, but when I to the review my return it asks for a payer ID on my 1099 NEC worksheet.

If you had a 1099-MISC in the prior year, it may have rolled over to a 1099-NEC in the current year. You can delete this from your return.

To delete, please follow the instructions below:

1. Open your return.
2. Search 1099-NEC in the search bar on the top of the page.
3. Click on the Jump-to-link at the top of the results.
4. On the summary page, use the trash can icon on any 1099-NEC listed.
