Why am I being asked for W-2 info when I am paid on 1099-NEC?

i have already entered the 1099-NEC info and I can't get past the info needed for a W2 which I do not have.

You can simply remove the W-2 from the program. Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online,

Sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
From the left menu, select Tax Tools, click on the drop down arrow
Select Tools
Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form
Select Delete next to Form W-2 and Continue with My Return

**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post
**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
