Where should your FSA contribution go on a W-2?

My FSA is listed in Box 12, TurboTax keeps saying I have an HSA which I do not. Where should this be listed so it doesn’t keep asking me this?

Where should your FSA contribution go on a W-2?

Health care FSA contributions are not normally listed on a W-2. If they are shown at all, it would be in box 14. HSA contributions are listed in box 12 with code W. If the entry in box 12 of your W-2 has code W, it is HSA contributions, not FSA, and that's why TurboTax says you have an HSA. There is no code for FSA contributions because they are not listed on the W-2. You may need to clarify with your employer what kind of account you have.

Dependent care FSA contributions are shown in box 10 of the W-2.
