The Health Coverage Tax Credit is available for taxpayers who are eligible individuals. The credit is for 72.5 percent of the taxpayer's expenses for qualified health insurance of the taxpayer and qualifying family members. The credit is only available for amounts paid by the taxpayer for these plans.
