When I filed on April 15th turbotax wouldn't let me choose the same date for direct debit. A help article stated I should put the 16th. Will I be penalized?

Note: the help article stated this was a work around to an issue.

See this other thread, which has the FAQ with the workaround that was provided at that time.  It's not clear yet IF there will be a penaly, or if TurboTax will notify the IRS to tell them there was a glitch, or what.

In any case, in the other thread below click the gray button "See Entire Answer", and then look at the section about penalties, and the statement that IF there is any penalty due to this, you can request relief through the Accuracy Guarantee.
