What do I put for the code if there is none in Box 7 on my 1099-R for my pension that I receive monthly?

If box 7 does not have a code (are you sure the code is not "7' which is same as the box number?) then it is an improper 1099-R and the account administrator muse issue a corrected 1099-R with the proper code.
