What box do I check if I am the beneficiary of my husband's retirement?

Why is it only asking about 1/4 disbursements  I get a monthly payment

You should have received a FORM 1099-R.  Please look at BOX 7.  If it is checked, this an IRA.  If it is not it is a pension.  The questions that are asked in TurboTax are different based on what this box shows.

If Box 7 is checked it will ask if this IRA was inherited (You would say Yes).  If the box is not checked that question will not exist.

Also, further through the questioning it will ask DID YOU GET PERIODIC PAYMENTS?  If you get monthly distributions the answer will be YES.
