Tax money wax taken out my account when I requested payment plan

Was it the full amount taken out or was it the payment plan amount? Was it for the state or federal? How long ago did you file?

As far as my understanding goes the IRS never deducts money from your account without an authorization from the tax payer. A payment plan is separate from the authorization. The IRS will ask you to pay the installments by check as agreed or agree to debit your account at a specific date.
